Brooke + Max

A perfect lakeside engagement session in the same location that Brooke + Max where engaged! I always enjoy photographing my couples in locations that are significant to them and this was the perfect backdrop for these two. Their family lake home is situated right on the beautiful Delavan Lake which just so happens to be the same lake that Brooke + Max will be married on next July!

We planned our session for sunset in hopes of some warm and golden photos but the clouds had other plans. Honestly, I think the clouds did us a favor! I am so in love with the lighting and vibe of these photos. We were able to capture some photos on shore as well as on the pier where Brooke + Max where engaged. They even brought their dog out for a few quick photos! We finished the night with a cruise on the lake where Brooke + Max popped some champagne and celebrated being engaged. Just as we were getting ready to head in it started to sprinkle. We were so thankful in held off just long enough for us to get our session in. :)
