I am thrilled to share this special family session I photographed earlier this spring! It's extra special because Christi is not only a client but also a friend and fellow wedding photographer! I always enjoy photographing her sweet family! :)
It is hard to believe that I first met Christi shortly after she had her daughter, Anastasia! We initially met when Christi second shot a wedding for me in Downtown Milwaukee. She had just left teaching and was starting to pursue photography full time! I was going in the opposite direction, doing photography part time and pursing my degree in education. As I worked towards my degree and Christi grew her business I started to second shoot for her quite frequently. Now, after having Lucy I took the same leap that Christi did all those years ago, leaving education to be home with Lucy while simultaneously building my own full time photography career.
It's wild to see how our lives have changed since we first met. Christi and her husband Domenick recently welcomed their third baby! I am so grateful that Christi trusts me to document moments like these for her family, and I couldn't ask for a better friend to have in the wedding photography industry! :)
